Plasma

Also known as blood plasma, serves as the liquid portion of blood and serves many functions in the body. Plasma plays an important role in transporting blood cells, nutrients, proteins, waste products and hormones throughout the body, in addition to helping with immunity, blood clotting, maintaining blood pressure and pH balance.
