Providing Answers, Support and Hope in Texas

In her own words...
Laketha Drummer -Montgomery. I was diagnosed with Lupus 15 years ago and it has literally been a relentless fight for my life. This is why for these 15 years I have advocated, supported, volunteered, and facilitated meetings and projects for The Lupus Foundation of America, Lone Star Chapter. It started because there weren't any meetings in the southern sector of Dallas, only Fort Worth and North Dallas. I then succumbed to complications of Lupus and was not able to continue. Having had an Aneurysm in March 2023, which required me to have to walk again and regain cognitive functions, I decided to rededicate my time to share whatever I can to help someone stuck in the "loop of Lupus" (which is my current project to help raise awareness and funds necessary to make the lives of those living with Lupus and their caregivers lives better) and seeking help.
Before health complications, my professional background was Communications, Teaching, Training and Development in the medical field, Minister/Leader for women, conference hosting & motivational speaking.
My current project, Masterpiece Mindset; Masterpiece Behavior (the247masterpiece.com), speaks volumes of my determination and focus to help those on their path to learning to live with a death diagnosis. Whether mental, physical, emotional or spiritual, healing is possible and controlling Lupus is possible, but we MUST commit to learning ourselves. Also, allow ourselves to release what is trying to destroy us and let our behavior mimic our mindset in a positive way.
