LFA Comments on Administration’s Proposed Rule on Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage

The Lupus Foundation of America recently submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) proposed rule on Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage. While the Foundation is appreciative of CMS’ efforts to reform the Medicare prescription drug benefit to lower costs for beneficiaries, we are concerned that the provisions in the proposed rule would restrict access to needed medications, notably those in the protected classes, for people living with lupus.
