NFL Players Champion Lupus Awareness in 2024 My Cause My Cleats Campaign
The National Football League’s (NFL) My Cause My Cleats campaign is back for its ninth year, allowing players to turn their passion for advocacy into action. During Weeks 13 and 14 of the season, players across the league are taking the field wearing custom cleats that tell a story — a story of hope, resilience, and support for causes they deeply care about.
This year, lupus takes center stage as a group of eight dedicated players from a variety of NFL teams have chosen to support the Lupus Foundation of America to shine a light on the challenges faced by lupus warriors. With vibrant designs and personal connections driving their choice, these players are not only raising awareness but also creating a ripple effect of support and understanding.
After the games, some of the cleats will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to the Lupus Foundation of America.
The Lupus Foundation of America is proud to honor the following players who are championing lupus awareness this year:
Terrion Arnold, Detroit Lions Cornerback

Arnold joins the cause, showcasing his connection to lupus and his drive to inspire change.
Jartavius “Quan” Martin, Washington Commanders Safety

Quan Martin proudly supports the Lupus Foundation of America, returning for another year to honor his grandmother, who passed away from lupus, and his mother who lives with the disease.
Chop Robinson, Miami Dolphins Linebacker

A new advocate in the campaign, Robinson dedicates his cleats to supporting lupus warriors and advancing the mission of the Lupus Foundation of America.
Chris Rodriguez Jr., Washington Commanders Running Back

Honoring his late mother, Stephanie, Rodriguez Jr. amplifies his commitment to raising awareness and funding for lupus research.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos wide receiver
