Join the Purple Movement! It is time to Plan Your Pop! 

Join us this May for Lupus Awareness Month as we launch POP for a Purpose! We're rallying our community to raise awareness and funds to support those affected by lupus. 

Register for a Walk to End Lupus Now event near your or join our virtual walk, grab your best purple attire, and start Planning Your POP!!

How can you POP?

1. Take steps to end lupus by registering for a lupus walk near you or our virtual walk! Start fundraising today to support vital research and help us create a better life for the over 5 million people living with lupus. 
2. Plan your Put on Purple outfit for May 10 and then share the reason you take steps to end lupus and your POP photos on social media! Ask your friends, family, and colleagues to join your team and get Poppin! 
3. Start working on a POP’n good time fundraiser to kick start your walk fundraising goal. Here are some ideas:

• Dress Down Purple Day: Organize a purple dress-down day at your workplace or school for a small donation. 
• Purple Bake Sale: Bake and sell purple-themed treats to raise funds. 
• $6 Challenge: Donate or ask others to forego their coffee shop beverage and donate. $6 to represent the 6-year average it takes to be diagnosed with lupus. 
• Purple Pickleball Challenge: Host a fun pickleball tournament with a purple pickly twist. 
• Spring Cleaning: Have a garage or sell in Facebook marketplace. Sell your gently used items and donate a portion of the proceeds. Don’t give away any of your purple items! 
• Bingo Night: Organize a bingo night with purple-themed bingo cards or prizes 
• Community Partnerships: Encourage local businesses you frequent (gym, local restaurant, hair salon, etc) to participate by wearing purple and donating a portion of their sales (maybe even a purple item bonus!).
