Providing Answers, Support and Hope in Georgia
Thirty-One Faces of Hope: Lori Randolph
The lupus community includes people living with lupus, friends, family and supporters across Georgia. For Lupus Awareness Month, we would like to highlight some of our lupus heroes and champions.
Lori Randolph
Lori Randolph was diagnosed with lupus in 2009. She reached out to the foundation, started volunteering with us, and quickly became an integral part of everything we do. From our Walk to End Lupus to our annual Night of Hope Gala Lori has since served in a leadership role sharing her wealth of knowledge from her days as a walk manager at the March of Dimes.
Lori is one of our Atlanta Walk to End Lupus Now chairs. Pivoting from live to virtual events was not an easy task, but with the leadership and support from all of walk chairs, including Lori, we were able to pull together an amazing walk season, complete with drive-up celebrations in each city. As a Chapter volunteer, Lori is always willing to step in and step up to help us in a pinch, mailing packets, stuffing envelopes, picking up signage and traveling to events across Georgia.
On May 15th, Lori received the Lisa Williams Volunteer Leadership Award with the deepest appreciation for her countless contributions to the success of our chapter as a loved and respected leader in our lupus community. Thank you Lori!
