ResetFinancial help for children with lupus
Do you know of a child whose family needs help with his or her medical expenses? Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), from UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF).
The main grant criteria are:
- The child is 16 or younger, lives in the United States, and is facing a health-related challenge;
- The child is currently covered by commercial health insurance plan;
- The insurance plan does not fully cover needed treatment, services, or equipment;
- The income of the parent or legal guardian falls within the required adjusted gross income levels.
It is not necessary for the family to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible for the grants.
