ResetAre there herbal supplements for lupus?
There are many dietary, herbal, and nutritional supplements on the market, and more are being added all the time. These supplements are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. Therefore they may not contain what they list as ingredients, or they may contain unknown quantities of ingredients. In the absence of evidence of benefit in lupus, I would not recommend taking any supplement without the approval of the physician who treats your lupus.
