A five-year initiative that brings together government, academia, industry, and nonprofits to help develop new treatments for several diseases, including lupus.
Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA)
An investigator-led research network for pediatric rheumatology whose mission is to conduct collaborative research to prevent, treat, and cure pediatric rheumatic diseases.
Increasing Minority Participation and Awareness in Clinical Trials (IMPACT) for Lupus
An initiative that works with national and community partners to develop and test a new education model aimed at raising awareness of lupus clinical trials among minority populations who are affected by lupus.
Patients, Advocates, and Rheumatology Teams Network for Research and Service (PARTNERS)
This network brings together children, their families, and several nonprofit organizations to improve health care and advance medical knowledge in the field of pediatric rheumatology.
Pediatric musculOskeletal & RheumaTology Innovation COre center (PORTICO)
PORTICO is a NIAMS funded Core Center of Excellence at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital that promotes innovative clinical research in Pediatric Musculoskeletal Diseases including childhood onset lupus.
