These seminars are the Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter's signature educational events. Each seminar brings together people living with lupus, their families, interested health professionals and a panel of experts to share the latest information to help individuals live well - or better - with lupus.

In adults who have lupus, as many as 5 out of 10 will have kidney disease. Kidney damage is one of the more common health problems caused by lupus. Join us during National Kidney Month for a free program all about the importance of caring for your kidneys and preparing for the unexpected. This program will cover more information on lupus nephritis, its invisibility, treatment considerations, and a team approach to lupus nephritis "rheumatonephrology” from local lupus experts at Geisinger Medical Center - Rheumatologist, Dr. David Bulbin & Nephrologist, Dr. Jason George.

We can improve health risks and reduce disparities and inequities by addressing and understanding the needs of these groups.
