Dr. Mimi Kim is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and has been Head of the Division of Biostatistics since 2003. She also directs the Biostatistics Shared Resource of the Institute of Clinical and Translational Research, and the Center for Quantitative Sciences. She is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association, on the Board of Trustees of the National Institute of Statistical Sciences, was Vice Chair of the American Statistical Association Council of Chapters Governing Board, and past President of the Korean International Statistical Society. She has been the lead statistician for large multicenter clinical trials and observations studies in lupus, and has participated on numerous grant review panels for the National Institutes of Health including the Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Clinical Trials Review Committee. Her research interests include multivariate and interval-censored survival data, the design and analysis of clinical trials, and epidemiologic methods. Her publications have appeared in Biometrics, Lifetime Data Analysis, Statistics in Medicine, NEJM, Arthritis and Rheumatism, and other statistics and medical journals.
